The classes in this section are designed to advance the skillsets of properly trained students beyond that of normal static range shooting while utilizing semi-automatic handguns.
Each course has been designed to specifically address certain situations a student may encounter under adverse conditions. The structure of each class begins as always with a basic range safety briefing which is then followed by a detailed outline of the days events and goals.
During each of these classes a student will not only be tested physically but mentally as well in an attempt to create an as realistic to an active shooting scenario as possible under controlled training conditions.
Students will have techniques demonstrated to them through out the program and will be afforded opportunities to demonstrate their understanding and abilities to carry out these techniques via both dry fire and live fire exercises.
Each course is designed to be a building block that provides the student the necessary foundation they need as they progress to more advanced levels of Handguns training.
At the conclusion of each course and or section, the student will receive feedback in the form of an evaluation from the instructor on the particular activity being preformed. This feedback will hopefully allow the student to more readily identify and recognize their strengths and weaknesses in that particular exercise.
